The General Secretary of the largest opposition political party, National Democratic Congress(NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia have urged his party members to come together…


Speaking at the outdooring of Jane Naana Mensah on the 27th of July, Asiedu Nketia urged the party to unite in ensuring the victory of John Mahama and Jane Naana.


According to Asiedu Nketia in his statement, Jane and John are not magicians and so it’ll take a collective effort and a united front to ensure their victory in the upcoming December elections.

“What is important is that the decisions [Professor Opoku-Agyemang nomination] must satisfy the greatest number of our party members. And so after a decision has been taken, our duty is to close our ranks, rally around our leadership and makes sure that the mission of rescuing Ghana is accomplished.”

“This is the time for party members to collectively take ownership of future John Mahama government. If we all sit aside and expect that President Mahama and Jane have magic to bring us to power, eventually when the power is going to be John Mahama and Jane government where will you be”.

“if we get our weight and put our shoulders to the wheel, whether we are identified for praise or not and we do a little bit we can in our various ways get the government to emerge will truly be an NDC government”.
