Safety protocols are not being followed – Mahama on voters registration

Addressing his ongoing tours to the voters registration centres, the former president of the Republic indicated how much safety protocols are being flouted.

 

In a facebook post, he disclosed he’s had to cut his visits to Accra and Tema registration centers short because of how unsafe the process is.

According to Mahama, people are not wearing masks as they should, and not are they social distancing enough.

 

“I have cut short my unannounced visit to some voter registration centres in Accra and Tema this afternoon. This is because of the very low awareness of the #COVID19 protocols including physical distancing and the wearing of masks.

 

We have to step up public education on COVID-19 so that people can appreciate the risk reduction protocols.” he wrote
