Three wardens, the police officer as well as two others were stationed at Busia prison to guard the Agricultural Training Centre, an isolation facility set aside by the Ministry of Health for coronavirus patients.
One of the officers was patrolling the area when he saw the arrested officer “engaging” the patient and so rushed to tell his colleagues.
They went back to confirm his assertions but the officer was nowhere to be found until midnight when there was a disturbance coming from the female ward.
To their amazement, the women had rushed out and complaining of the officer raping the patient.
He have since been disarmed arrested and placed in mandatory quarantine.
