Yesterday the 10th of May saw another public address on the coronavirus pandemic and it’s surrounding issues in Ghana…
In the address the President updated the public on the current number of cases, recoveries and deaths.
He also expanded on the singular highest recorded case, which was a fish factory in Tema and how one person infected over 500, amongst other things.
The President took the opportunity to also take a swipe at his opponents who look to profit off the daily increasing of the Covid 19 cases.
In his speech, he assured Ghanaians that the increasing number of infections doesn’t mean the government has failed as some people would like for us to believe.
He then went on to ask us not to hold it against them because they’re just doing what they must do to maintain their political careers.
I know some political actors will want you to believe that our current numbers represent a failure on the part of Government. Do not begrudge them. They need to make such comments for their political survival
