Whiles the world fights coronavirus, Ghana unfortunately once again have politicized the pandemic like everything else.

The incumbent government and they opposition have found themselves throwing shots at each other over “who did what best”.

The latest was a press conference from Vice President Bawumia who rebutted comments from former President Mahama who called the economy, one on a ventilator.

According to the veep, the Akuffo Addo government is doing a way better job than he(Mahama) did during his era with power crisis and load shedding which was dubbed “dumsor”

โ€œTwo major crises have befallen our country in the last decade โ€“ Dumsor and Covid-19. The management of the economy under two different leaders during these crises periods is something we should all be interested in.โ€ – Bawumia said

Actresses Lydia Forson who saw the above statement, shared on the timeline of the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah held back no words, saying she’s disappointed that a pandemic that’s taking lives is being compared to power outages.

โ€œI canโ€™t believe weโ€™re comparing DUMSOR to COVID-19, a pandemic that threatens our very human existence,โ€ she fumed.
โ€œIโ€™m utterly disgusted and extremely disappointed by this comparison.@konkrumah I know if you were still on air you would have grilled anyone who made this statement. smh,โ€ she added
