I saved the female music industry from dying – Wendy Shay

Being extra, appears to be the order of the day this month, from exaggerated RIP tweets to welcoming posts on IG…

Rufftown Records have added a new member to its family in the name of Kiki Marley, a songstress who’ve joined the music label.

Wendy Shay being the big sister in the family decided to send some welcoming message in the way of Kiki Marley, and a simple “welcome to the family” post or something similar would have sufficed but alas, that’s not the Wendy Shay we know.

In welcoming Kiki, the evermore magnanimous Wendy Shay had to remind everybody of her supposedly saving the female fraternity of the Ghanaian music industry.

In the IG post captioning photo of Kiki Marley and telling her to be humble, she wrote;

โ€œI saved the female scene from dying 2 n half years ago when Bony left (RIP)

they didnโ€™t wanna open the door for

Me , but I opened it By Force ! With God

Hardwork ,perseverance,humility , and loyalty

@kikimarleylive welcome to rufftowm Records

Girl come and do your thing cos u got it ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

My advice to you ,is to be humble and loyal donโ€™t go join forces with Them later to bring rufftown down

Thatโ€™s dangerous

Go for Gold ..youโ€™re A Star ๐ŸŒŸโ€

How’s that for being humble?
