Ghana finally receives Madagascar’s Covid 19 medicine

The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has revealed that Ghana has received the herbal medicine being used by Madagascar to treat their coronavirus patients.


This was revealed in a tweet by the Ministry of Information in a tweet.


According to Ghana’s Ministry of Information, they reached out to Madagascar for their herbal cure and have received the herbal medicine and are currently considering it.


We are considering it. We have reached out to them. We have asked that it be made available to us & like all drugs, it will be tested by FDA & in this case by Center for Plant Medicine & if proven efficacious, we can recommend it use.

Though the World Health Organization is yet to approve of the herbal medicine African countries including Comoros Island, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, Niger, Tanzania, Nigeria, Senegal, and Chad have ordered for it.


Madagascar has recorded 322 cases of Coronavirus with 119 recoveries and only 1 death.
