Ayawaso West Wuogon MP pays private school teachers

The member of parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency have fulfilled her promise of paying private school teachers in her constituency…


Mrs Lydia Seyram Alhassan launched “Support private school teachers” which obviously is meant to support private school teachers, who’ve lost their livelihood amidst the outbreak of the coronavirus.

The payment plan has been divided into two circuits, thus Circuit 21 and Circuit 22, of which circuit 21 is to confirm their salaries on 30th May whilst Circuit 22 is to wait until June 2, 2020, for payment.



Okudzeto Ablakwa have done similar for private school teachers in his constituency paying off the salaries of over 600 teaching and non teaching staff, who’re not on government payroll.


Lydia’s contender, actor turned politician hopeful John Dumelo is also helping out the people of his constituency, fixing pipelines and buying oven for a poor bread baker,  Ayawaso West will surely be interesting in the coming months
