2 police officers test positive for coronavirus in the Upper East Region.

Two Ghanaian police officers have come in contact with persons affected with the coronavirus and have been infected themselves.

The two police men who were infected were in separate instances with one on escort duty and the other returning to his post,  all in the Upper East region.

They have currently been been put on medications after show of mild symptoms.

The police officers were identified through contact tracing.

The corona virus pandemic has recorded 1550 cases, with 155 recoveries and 11 deaths during the publishing of this article in Ghana.
